Office Move and Change Management Project with Sandvik

The Challenge

In September 2019, we were entrusted with the task of supporting Sandvik in their organisational culture programme. By November 2019, we had developed a comprehensive strategy, including plans for a culture programme spanning from 2020 to 2022 and office moves in early 2021. However, the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 disrupted everything, leading to a total lockdown and widespread disconnection and disengagement among employees. Our challenge was to navigate through this crisis and help our client maintain focus and continuity.

The Solution

We swiftly adapted to the challenging circumstances and provided our client with the support they needed to weather the storm.

Working closely with their leadership team, we implemented creative digital communication and engagement solutions to bridge the gap caused by remote work.

We facilitated virtual activities that brought the entire organization together in a dynamic and enjoyable way.

Leveraging our expertise, we guided the leadership team in managing remote teams with confidence and overcoming the obstacles presented by the pandemic.

Results

Our efforts and the resilience of our client resulted in remarkable outcomes. Despite the pandemic disrupting their plans, our client successfully transitioned to remote work and maintained a sense of normality within the organisation. The virtual activities and engaging communication strategies helped combat disconnection and fostered a positive and connected culture. The reference letter from our client attests to our professionalism, knowledge, and the value we added to their organisation.

Our experience in managing organisational change, combined with our adaptability in the face of unprecedented circumstances, played a vital role in the success of this culture programme. As a level 1 BEE contributor, we take pride in our customer-centric approach, dynamic team of consultants, and the value we bring to our clients.

Despite the obstacles posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we remained committed to supporting our clients in achieving their goals and navigating through change effectively. This case study exemplifies our dedication to delivering results, even during the most challenging times.
